Astrophysical Synthesis & Habitability Characterization

UCAC3 113-933 b is a confirmed gas giant exoplanet orbiting the star UCAC3 113-933, located approximately 171.5 light-years (52.58 parsecs) from the Solar System. First announced in 2024 by Multiple Observatories using the Imaging detection technique (resolved directly via high-contrast coronagraphic or interferometric imaging), this world measures 12.1 Earth radii (1.08 Jupiter radii) and has a measured mass of 6674.397 Earth masses (21 Jupiter masses). Combining its mass and radius yields a mean bulk density of 20.77 g/cm³ (an iron-enriched, high-compression rocky core), a surface gravity of 45.59 g⊕ (447.09 m/s²), and an escape velocity of 262.7 km/s.

❄️ Thermal Regime (Cryogenic Zone): With an equilibrium temperature of 2 K (-271°C / -456°F), surface water and volatile species on UCAC3 113-933 b would remain locked in cryogenic ice phases unless warmed by subsurface tidal or radiogenic heating.

The host star UCAC3 113-933 is classified as a low-mass red dwarf of spectral type M0 with an effective photospheric temperature of 3,864 K, a radius of 0.5645 R☉, a mass of 0.61 M☉, an estimated bolometric luminosity of 0.064 L☉. Stellar evolution modeling indicates an estimated stellar age of 0.55 Gyr and a metallicity of [Fe/H] = -0.95 dex (metal-poor relative to the Sun). From Earth, UCAC3 113-933 shines at apparent V-band magnitude 12.501 (faint and requiring research-grade or CCD telescopic photometry) in the Southern celestial hemisphere.

Earth Similarity Index (ESI): 0.00 Earth Baseline = 1.00
