Astrophysical Synthesis & Habitability Characterization

TOI-713 b is a confirmed terrestrial exoplanet orbiting the star TOI-713, located approximately 226.2 light-years (69.37 parsecs) from the Solar System. First announced in 2026 by Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) using the Transit detection technique (producing an estimated primary transit depth of 0.0271% across the stellar disk), this world measures 1.169 Earth radii and has a measured mass of 1.754 Earth masses. Combining its mass and radius yields a mean bulk density of 6.05 g/cm³ (a terrestrial silicate-iron composition comparable to Earth (5.51 g/cm³)), a surface gravity of 1.28 g⊕ (12.55 m/s²), and an escape velocity of 13.7 km/s.

In its orbital architecture around TOI-713, TOI-713 b completes one full revolution every 1.872 Earth days. The orbit is modeled as circular (e = 0.00), maintaining a constant stellar distance throughout its year.

⚠️ Thermal Regime (Irradiated / Hot Zone): At an equilibrium temperature of 953 K (+680°C / +1256°F) and receiving 202.00 S⊕ (~274,922 W/m²), TOI-713 b orbits interior to the runaway greenhouse boundary where surface liquid water cannot persist.

The host star TOI-713 is classified as a stellar host with an effective photospheric temperature of 4,317 K, a radius of 0.6511 R☉, a mass of 0.67 M☉, an estimated bolometric luminosity of 0.132 L☉. From Earth, TOI-713 shines at apparent V-band magnitude 11.863 (faint and requiring research-grade or CCD telescopic photometry) in the Southern celestial hemisphere. The TOI-713 system is a multi-planet architecture hosting 2 confirmed worlds, with TOI-713 b sharing its stellar neighborhood alongside TOI-713 c.
